What Mavic Pro Alternative Would I Buy?

I would definitely buy the Eachine E58 due to its very similar features that a Mavic Pro carries. But unlike its more expensive counterpart, this is much cheaper and without any compromise in its performance, that is why is it is the best drone DJI Mavic Pro clone in my opinion. However, the others are great too. The Goolsky Attop XT-1 is a more affordable option, the Snaptain A15 is packed with so many good features, the VISUO XS816 is best for 4K shots and the Teeggi VISUO XS809HW excels in battery life. Whether it is the Eachine E58 you are after or something else on this list, your preference matters the most when it comes to the best drone that is cheaper than DJI.

Mavic Pro Alternative Buying Guide

Folding and Convenience

The main highlight of the DJI Mavic Pro is its folding capabilities. That means it is very easy to bring it with you anywhere you go. But if the Mavic Pro is too much due to its price, the 5 drones listed above make great alternatives. What you want to look at first is the folding feature. However, not every foldable drone is reliable. If you buy a very cheap one, you might end up accidentally snapping it. Always rely on trusted brands such as Visuo or Eachine instead.

Features

The Mavic Pro can record at 4K in 60 fps. Most drones cannot do that, however, your best alternatives for this are the Eachine E58 and the Snaptain A15.

Battery Life

The longest that the Mavic Pro can go is 30 minutes in the air. 20 minutes is the least number of time in order to consider the drone a carbon copy of the Mavic Pro. The drones that we listed above can last as long as the DJI. Some drones come with backup batteries while others are already fitted with advanced batteries in order to stay up longer than at least 20 minutes.

Price

The Mavic Pro does cost a fortune because of its sophisticated design. However, the drones provided above cost much lesser than the original  - even less than $100. Are they clunky? Depending on your buyer. But are they worth your money compared to the DJI? Yes, definitely; especially if you are not the hardcore drone fan type.

FAQs

How much is a DJI Mavic Pro compared to other drones?

The Mavic Pro costs $999 to $1700 depending on where you are buying it from. The biggest discount price it offered was $815 during the last Black Friday. Some would argue that the DJI drone is overpriced; an Apple equivalent in the drone market, if you will. Yet, drone fanatics say that nothing can beat the original, no matter what alternatives you buy that echoes the same as a Mavic Pro.

What can the DJI Mavic Pro do that others can’t?

The DJI drone is full of sophisticated features such as 4K recording at 60 frames per second (for a very smooth capture), a 20MP camera, a long-distant 8km connection, 5 direction of obstacle sensing, 30 minutes of battery life and with a 3-axis gimbal stabilization. The drones we provided bear similar specs.

Is DJI Mavic Pro 4K?

Yes, the DJI Mavic Pro is a drone with 4K resolution and 60 fps under a 20MP camera. Fortunately, there are specific others that can record at such a pace too. Take, for example, the Snaptain A15: this cheaper drone costs less than $100 but it can record at 4K also with some limitations in the overall camera quality.

Are drones like the DJI Mavic Pro worth it?

Indeed, the provided alternatives are the best choice when you are buying a drone that works similarly to the DJI. The main problem with each of them is that they have distinct limitations compared to the Mavic Pro. For example, the Goolsky and the Teeggi Visuo can only capture at 720p while the rest (except Eachine E58) do not last longer than 20 minutes.
